Discounts, taxes, service charges and tips

Discounts, taxes, service charges and tips are created in the lists under Checkout → Library.

Discounts

1. Open Library → Discounts and create a discount.
2. Give it a name and a type: Amount, Percentage, Variable amount or Variable percentage.
3. On a sale use Sale options → Add discount. For a variable discount you type the value during the sale and tap Apply.

Taxes

1. Open Library → Tax and enter a name and a percentage.
2. Choose where it applies: all taxable items and services, or selected items.
3. For an item that isn't taxed, turn on Set this item as nontaxable in its form.

Service charges

In Library → Service charges enter a name and a percentage; the charge appears as its own line when you review the sale.

Tips

In Library → Tip turn on Collect Tips and set the percentage options and a custom tip. Admins and the owner can change this.
