Passcode and the lock screen

Updated 19 October 2026

Your passcode keeps Yeri POS to yourself: when the app locks, only someone with the code can open it.

Set the passcode

  1. Open More → Security.
  2. Tap Set Passcode.
  3. Type a 4-digit New Passcode and repeat it on Confirm Passcode.

Later you can change it with Change Passcode or switch it off with Turn Off Passcode.

Employees set their first passcode themselves but can't change an existing one — they ask a manager. Admins and the owner set a member's passcode in Team → member → Security → Passcode.

When the app locks

With a passcode set, Yeri POS locks:

  • after 60 seconds or more in the background;
  • after 5 minutes without a touch on the screen.

Unlock

On Welcome Back type your passcode or choose Use Face ID.

The server checks the code, so unlocking needs a connection. You have 5 attempts; after that the app asks you to sign in again.
