Accept payments with Tap to Pay on iPhone

With Tap to Pay on iPhone and Yeri POS, you can accept all types of in-person, contactless payments right on your iPhone—no extra terminals or hardware needed. Terms apply.

Before you start

• Your business is verified on Yeri.
• iPhone XS or later. Tap to Pay on iPhone doesn't work on iPad.

Turn it on in Yeri POS

1. An Admin or the owner turns on the switch on the Tap to Pay on iPhone card in More.
2. On this iPhone tap Set Up on This iPhone and follow the steps on screen.

It takes just a few simple steps.

1. Open the Yeri POS app on your iPhone, and enter the purchase amount.
2. Present your iPhone to the customer.
3. Your customer holds their card horizontally or their device at the top of your iPhone, over the contactless symbol for a few seconds.
4. When you see the Done checkmark, the card read is complete and the transaction is being processed.

PIN transaction protection.

Transactions that require PIN entry will automatically prompt a PIN entry screen when using Tap to Pay on iPhone. During a transaction, Tap to Pay on iPhone is designed to prevent all photo, video, screenshot, and screen-recording features on the merchant’s iPhone from capturing a customer’s card number or PIN information.
